Library borrowing information.

Borrowing books from the library

Current students may borrow from any of the ACAP campus libraries.

Students studying entirely online or by blended delivery can request books through our postal lending service or place digitisation requests for chapters out of books.

Newly enrolled students may borrow two weeks prior to the commencement of their courses.

Returning Items

Items will be automatically renewed up to 6 times the lending period unless they have been placed on hold by another student.

You may return all borrowed items to any campus library either by post or in person.

Returning books to the library by post is made at borrowers' expense.

To find a book on the shelves using MultiSearch:

  • Click title links of items in your results list
  •  A detailed record will open. Here, in the Find & Request section you will see the campus location, collection status and call number
  • The call number indicates where the book is located on the shelf at your campus
  • If the book is unavailable (out to another student) or located at another campus you may request or hold this item.

How to Borrow
