Where possible campus libraries are open this trimester to provide study spaces, WiFi, and access to PCs.
Staff will observe social distancing and all library visitors must do so to ensure their own health and to avoid putting others at risk. Please maintain the recommended social distancing space of 1.5m when interacting with a library staff member or other students. You will see new signage on library computers and facilities which enables the implementation of social distancing. Not all library computers will be accessible due to social distancing.
The LibChat and Library Zoom services continue seven days a week to provide assistance finding and using online resources such as eBooks, journal databases and streaming video.

The library has extended the hours of the live LibChat service for library support and assistance. Library staff are available through LibChat Monday to Thursday 9.00am to 8.00pm, Friday 9.00am to 6.00pm, Saturday 10.00am to 6.00pm and Sunday 2.00pm to 7.00pm AEDT.
Research support sessions
To ensure social distancing students should access one-on-one research support sessions via Zoom with ACAP Librarians. A session booking form is available here.
Library Fines Amnesty
In response to the pandemic the library has waived all overdue fines as part of a general fines amnesty. This does not include book replacement fees for long overdue items. This fee is removed once the book is returned or replaced. If you have a long overdue book, perhaps borrowed last year prior to the pandemic, now is the time to return it. If there any questions or extenuating circumstances regarding long overdue books and related fees, get in touch with library staff face-to-face, chat, SMS, or email.
We are here to help
