SIBT: Reference Management Software

1. Drag and Drop PDFs from PC:

1. Open file manager on your PC
2. Open Zotero
3. Drag your PDFs onto Zotero

2. Manually Create a Reference:

1. Click File and select New Add
   • Or click the New Item button
2. Select the type of entry
3. Fill out the details of the reference

3. Import RIS File from PC:

1. Click File and select Import...
2. Ensure you tick A file (BibTex, RIS, Zotero RDF, etc) and click Next
3. Find your .ris file in your downloads
4. Ensure to select Copy files to the Zotero storage folder and click Next
5. Click Finish

4. Internet or Databases with Zotero Connector:

1. Navigate to a website, report database folder or Multisearch results
2. Click the Zotero Connector Icon
3. Tick the resources you want to import
4. Select the collection it will be Saving to

NOTE: Downloading a PDF from a website ALWAYS check the reference is complete in Zotero!
