Published Proceedings

The Style Manual for Authors Editors and Printers (Style manual) makes a distinction between published proceedings and unpublished materials. This can be confusing because many conference papers are published somewhere - either as a book or on a website. Here are some examples of referencing published proceedings from the Style Manual p. 207.

Bourassa, S 1999, 'Effects of child care on young children', Proceedings of the third annual meeting of the International Society for Child Psychology, International Society for Child Psychology, Atlanta Georgia, pp. 4-6.
