Consider these categories when providing readings.

Prescribed

Prescribed reading is essential to meet unit learning outcomes.
Most readings will be in the prescribed category and will often include readings from a prescribed textbook.
Recommended and further readings are optional.

Recommended

Recommended readings are not compulsory but provide additional information, reinforcing the core content and deepening student understanding.

Further Reading

This is optional content that could be useful for students who are seeking additional information or context about a topic or unit.

Some resources are not available through ACAP learning resources or in open, copyright compliant formats on the Web. Such resources may include articles, chapters, conference papers, theses, images, or audiovisual content.

Rather than uploading PDFs or other files directly into the class space, ACAP uses FLEX to store and share reading materials to students via secure digital links.

Any content communicated to students has specific copyright requirements. To ensure that copyright compliant copies are uploaded via FLEX to the class space, contact the Learning Hub at learninghub@acap.edu.au.

Link directly to learning resources by copying and pasting URLs, permalinks or DOIs which have EzProxy authentication included within the address or add the EzProxy authentication URL component.

Check the availability of ACAP learning resources. ACAP library resources can provide more stable links, better accessibility and ensure copyright compliance.
