The following details should be provided in a reference list:

  • title
  • date of recording
  • format
  • publisher
  • place of recording
  • Any special credits and other information that might be useful can be noted after the citation.

Finding the Referencing Information for a Program

Sometimes finding the referencing information for the program you viewed can be tricky.
The following sources are suggested to assist you in obtaining this information:

  • MultiSearch - if you borrowed a DVD from the library, the referencing information should be on MulitSearch
  • EduTV - contains a lot of programs from the ABC, SBS and a range of documentaries and films. Production information and date of transmission are available from this site.
