Referencing with Mendeley Cite

Insert a Citation

  1. Select where you want the citation to go
  2. Search for the reference either by:
    • Typing in the Title or Author into the search field
    • Tick the box next to the reference in the list
  3. Click Insert citation

Edit a Citation

  1. Click on the citation you want to edit
  2. In Mendeley Cite, click on the citation bubble
  3. In the Edit Reference Tab, you can add values to specific reference attributes (such as page numbers) and provide a prefix/suffix
  4. Click Done
  5. Then Save changes
