Reference in APA 7

This guide provides formatting and presentation standards in APA 7 for ACAP students.

Reference Elements: Blog Posts

Blogger, A. A. (Year, Month Day). Title of the post. Blog name in italics. https://doi.org/xxxx

Blogs follow the same format as journal articles except the addition of month and day of the post in the Date element.

The name of the blog is italicised in the same way as journal publications.

Parenthetical Style

Citations of sources with up to 20 authors should include all names (McAdoo, 2019).

"Organisations are notorious for thinking staff have bad morale" (Ee, 2019, para. 5).

Narrative Style

McAdoo (2019) explains how many authors should be included. 

Ee (2019) acknowledges that "organisations are notorious for thinking staff have bad morale" (para. 5).
